ABOUT EGNYTE

Egnyte is the secure multi-cloud platform for content security and governance that enables organizations to better protect and collaborate on their most valuable content. Established in 2008, Egnyte has democratized cloud content security for more than 22,000 organizations, helping customers improve data security, maintain compliance, prevent and detect ransomware threats, and boost employee productivity on any app, any cloud, anywhere. For more information, visit www.egnyte.com.

Our Cloud Security team owns how Egnyte's GCP-primary cloud stays safe - the guardrails, automation, IAM design, and detection that secure our cloud infrastructure end-to-end.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Build automation that replaces manual review work - Policy-as-Code, auto-remediation, CSPM policy authorship.

Lead deep technical reviews on GCP/Azure architecture (multi-tenant isolation, IAM, network segmentation) and turn findings into reusable guardrails.

Collaborate with Product and Corporate Security teams as well as Engineering teams to design and implement cloud security solutions.

Own and manage the security tools used to secure Egnyte’s multi-cloud environments.

Mature cloud incident response - detection coverage, runbooks, blast-radius limiting controls.

Design IAM patterns that scale across GCP organizations - service accounts, workload identity, least-privilege primitives that engineering teams actually adopt.

Translate SOC 2 and FedRAMP control requirements into automated guardrails - so compliance scales with the product.

Mentor and grow the Cloud Security team - shape team processes and technical direction.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

Demonstrated impact at senior or staff IC level in cloud engineering, with hands-on cloud security ownership (any of GCP/AWS/Azure - primary stack here is GCP).

Track record of leading technical security reviews and shaping secure-by-design patterns that other engineering teams adopt.

Proven ability to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) using scripting and Policy as Code frameworks to automate infrastructure hardening.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

Strong working knowledge of Linux administration and containerized workloads, with a focus on securing managed Kubernetes clusters and managing complex traffic via WAF, Load Balancing, and standard protocols.

Hands-on experience with at least one CNAPP/CSPM platform (Wiz, Orca, Prisma).

    Professional working proficiency in English.

BONUS POINTS:

Track record of external knowledge-sharing prowess (e.g., presenting at conferences, meetups, or writing technical content).

Industry-recognized certifications such as GCP PCSE, CCSK, CCSP, CKA, CKS, GCPN, GCSA.

BENEFITS:

Attractive salary package based on skillset

Your own Egnyte account with lifetime access to 50TB of cloud storage

MyBenefit: you can choose a MultiSport card or gift cards every month

    Private medical healthcare

    In-house English classes
